Testing Light Revolution in the Museum Studio
We spent a day working with the photographic team at the museum testing the Light Revolution LR4 system with multiple subjects from small items such as Viking broaches through to Egyptian carvings. The team were impressed by how quickly different lighting effects could be created, the speed of use and the versatility of the system
As a comparative test we shot items the team had already photographed from the collection then compared the Before & After shots which you can see below

Egyptian Carving
The LR4 System was fitted with one Dedo DLED4 unit which moved around the carving for one revolution creating an intense circular beam of light which revealed very fine detail and texture in the carving
Chinese Bowl
The LR4 system was fitted with a Kino Flo Dive 21 LED panel which created a large circle of light during its rotation around the bowl which successfully produced consistent highlights in the polished gold rim
Fossil
The LR4 System was fitted with one Dedo DLED4 unit which moved around the fossil for one complete revolution creating an intense, circular beam of light which revealed the very fine detail on the surface of the fossil giving it a totally different look
Chinese Wooden Box
The LR4 System was fitted with one Dedo DLED4 unit which moved around the carved wooden box for one complete revolution creating an intense, circular beam of light which revealed the detail in the carved wood and created a punchy poster shot
