Demonstration to AHFAP Library and Archives Imaging Group
We spent a day working with the photographic team at the University using the Light Revolution LR4 system to shoot coins and books during a short demo to the Association of Historic and Fine Art Photographers special interest group on Library and Archives Imaging

Hunter Medal
The LR4 System was fitted with one Dedo DLED4 unit which moved around the coin for one revolution creating an intense circular beam of light which beautifully outlined the shape of the figure

The LR4 System was fitted with one Dedo DLED4 unit which moved around the coin for one revolution creating an intense circular beam of light which defined the rim of the coin and made the text clearly readable
Badge
The LR4 System was fitted with one Dedo DLED4 unit which moved around the badge for one revolution creating an intense circular beam of light which defined the edges of the lion and clearly revealed the text and detail within the badge
Linen Bible
The linen Bible was shot using three different light sources mounted on to the LR4 System and all three versions were shot in just over a minute showing the versatility and how quickly multiple lighting effects can be created from the same platform. The first image was lit with a Kino Flo Diva 21 LED unit, the second shot was lit with a Dedo DLED4 head and the third image was shot with another Dedo DLED4 head at a lower angle
The first image produces an evenly lit record shot of the Bible and the second and third images reveal increasing detail in the embroidery, as the Dedo is lowered a more dramatic and detailed image is create
