The Light Revolution LR4 System

This is our flagship Light Revolution System which has been designed from the ground up to be a “painting with light” machine enabling amazing and repeatable lighting effects to be created by anyone with a little training. Beyond painting with light the system can also be used as a camera platform and single or multiple cameras and accessories can be added onto the arms to shot 360 videos or stills that can then be used for Photogrammetry to create 3D models of objects

The system is modular enabling additional components to be added to carry our different tasks plus it also makes the system extremely portable so that it can be transported in a small car and assembled in a few minutes on site. The LR4 System is CNC machined from high grade aluminium and comprises of fifteen main components which can easily be assembled in a few minutes; the central hub unit which rotates the arms and delivers power to the lights, three adjustable legs which support the hub, two arms with pylons attached to mount the lights on and a separate table assembly complete with a 1000mm diameter circular table top

This is a precision engineered system and uses high quality bearings to ensure the smooth rotation of the hub. We use a high quality motor and control system to drive the hub either in a continuous motion or through predefined steps around the table which can be used for 360 photography. The control system is very precise and controls the acceleration and deceleration of the hub along with being able to move the hub to any predefined position in any 360 degree rotation

Portable Studio

The system is very portable, can be transported in two cases and just needs a suitable jib or stand to support the camera above the subject. The footprint of the system is also small so does not need a large area to operate in, just a darkened room
